Video Surveys
Our extensive experience of surveys carried out on structures and vessels is supported by our underwater video survey equipment
This equipment comprises of a specially designed, low light, helmet mounted underwater camera connected via a hard wired umbilical to a state of the art video editing suite situated at the Dive Control Station
This arrangement enables our client to be presented with fully edited video/audio footage of the survey complementing our detailed written reports.
Additionally we can provide a larger monitor allowing the client’s representative to witness events as the survey is conducted.

Visual Surveys
Our team of experienced professional divers have undertaken a large number of visual surveys of various types of structures for a wide range of clients.
These clients include :
- Engineering consultants
- Council engineering and bridges departments
- The highways agency
- Marinas
- The environment agency
The findings of every survey are supported by a detailed written report including drawings, photographs and video footage if required.

NDT
Seatech has undertaken a large number of projects where a Non Destructive Testing survey has been required including pile steel thickness testing using the latest Ultra-Sonic Thickness Measuring gauges.
The findings for such surveys are supported by a detailed written report including photographs.
Confined Space
Our highly qualified teams have extensive knowledge and experience in confined space surveys. Not only do we have the capability to provide land based crews, we also provide complete diving teams to survey any structure from bridges to culverts.
We carry all our own equipment including our low light video system allowing our clients first hand, experience from a safe distance.

Stern Gear Clearing
Our team of divers have experience in successfully removing a wide variety of materials (rope, tyres, steel hawsers etc.) which have become fouled around the stern gear of vessels.
Some of these materials have required to be removed using a range of tools including oxy-thermal cutting equipment, grinding equipment and mechanical cutting equipment.
All of this equipment we carry as part of the contents of our emergency service unit.
Intake/Discharge Clearing
The clearing of obstructions from intakes or discharges can be undertaken by our marine team quickly and efficiently.
A written report can be provided detailing the type of obstruction removed and any damage to the intake/discharge.
Hull Blank Fitting
Blanking of hull fittings can be achieved by Seatech either by using blanking equipment held at our premises for such occasions or by fabricating specifically designed blanks.

Underwater Welding
A wide variety of underwater welding projects, large or small, can be undertaken by our very experienced, certified, underwater welding team using up to date and well maintained underwater welding equipment.

Underwater Cutting
Whether it requires Oxy-Thermal Cutting, Mechanical Cutting or the use of a specifically designed Hydraulic Underwater Chainsaw, Seatech can undertake cutting projects tailored for most materials.
All of this equipment is held by us on standby for emergency requirements.
Culvert Maintenance
We at Seatech possess long standing experience in all aspects of culvert maintenance including Structural Surveys to highlight any potential failures, brickwork re-pointing, scour protection, silt removal and non-destructive testing.

Pile Work
Our dive teams can undertake most types of work on steel or timber piles including inspections, removal, maintenance or repair.
Mooring Inspections
Seatech Commercial Diving Services Ltd can undertake detailed inspection of mooring systems, including:

Search and Recovery
Using fully certified lift bag recovery systems if required, our team of experienced salvage divers can undertake diving operations to recover any object from the seabed from items of plant to small sized vessels.
Non-diving Wetwork
Should the situation arise where work is required to be undertaken in shallow water which does not require the use of diving equipment, we can provide personnel experienced in all aspects of construction or inspection work, suitably dressed in dry-suits to undertake the work.
